Kimberly & Bryn: A Love Story in Strathmore
Love has a way of finding us in the most unexpected places. For Kimberly and Bryn, their journey began with a connection on Hinge. What started as over a month of texting grew into something much more profound when their schedules finally aligned for their first date. This extra time to get to know each other laid a strong foundation for their three-year relationship, culminating in a magical wedding day at Four Sisters Farm in Strathmore.
A Love Brewed at Origin’s Brewery
Kimberly and Bryn share a deep love for simple, meaningful moments, and their favorite date spot holds a special place in their hearts. Origin’s Brewery in Strathmore, where they had their first date, quickly became their go-to for date nights. From the delicious food to their favorite beers—which even made an appearance at their wedding—this brewery symbolizes their journey together. They’ve made friends with the staff and even received a membership as a wedding gift, ensuring many more memorable evenings filled with good beer and laughter.
A Proposal in Banff
The proposal, like their love story, was perfectly imperfect. After their planned sleigh ride in Banff was canceled, Bryn’s spontaneity shone through. During a walk by the serene waters near Cave and Basin, he got down on one knee with a heartfelt and adorably simple, “So, umm, yeah, will you marry me?” For Kimberly, it was everything she could have hoped for—intimate, meaningful, and followed by a weekend of celebrating in Banff.
The Wedding at Four Sisters Farm
Kimberly and Bryn’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. Held at the picturesque Four Sisters Farm in Strathmore, the day brought together family and friends from across Canada, the U.S., and Denmark. For Kimberly, a self-proclaimed city girl turned cow enthusiast, the farm’s highland cows were a dream come true. These gentle animals added a personal and sentimental touch, honoring her dad’s farming heritage and creating unforgettable memories—like the longhorn cows breaking out during sunset photos!
The love and laughter shared among their guests made their celebration truly special. It was a chance for loved ones to reconnect and experience the beauty of Strathmore, the town Kimberly and Bryn call home.
A Honeymoon to Remember
After their wedding, the newlyweds escaped to Golden for a mini honeymoon, staying in a cozy yurt and savoring the peace and quiet after the whirlwind of their big day. Their adventures don’t stop there, though. In September 2025, they plan to visit Bryn’s family in Denmark and end their trip with a stop at Oktoberfest in Germany—a festival that fittingly celebrates the marriage of royalty!
Words of Wisdom
Planning a wedding is no small feat, and Kimberly and Bryn have some advice for future couples:
Kimberly: “Enjoy the wedding planning process as much as possible. Focus on the big picture—marrying the love of your life—and don’t stress too much about the small details.”
Bryn: “Just say yes and make sure you’re on time!”
Strathmore’s Sweethearts
Kimberly and Bryn’s love story is one of laughter, friendship, and shared adventures. From their love for games, symbolized by a custom deck of cards as their wedding guestbook, to their heartfelt vows, every detail of their day reflected their journey together.
Congratulations, Kimberly and Bryn, on your beautiful wedding and the life you’ve built together. Thank you for letting us be a part of your story!
