Cheers to Ten- Pike Lake

Vow renewals are amazing. Lindsay and Zack celebrated ten years of married with their best friends and family. They wanted everything to be laid back, relaxed and enjoy their time together camping. They renewed their vows at Pike Lake provincial park. They put so much time to into creating beautiful décor pieces, color coordination, and makin sure they had photos taken during golden hour.

Lindsay's oldest son walked with her down the isle. They exchanged their vows with their boys by their side. They had their Jp that married them ten years ago renew their vows. such a meaningful touch! They stood in front of an archway that Zack made, the arch was lined with beautiful greenery and lanterns. After the ceremony we took a few photos with family and they all shared a meal together. It felt like the perfect backyard bbq.

Afterward we snuck out with the bridemaids, played some games, snapped some fun shots and had some laughs. Lindsay being a fellow photographer wanted to capture portraits with her and zack during golden hour. I can't tell you how happy this made me as nothing looks better then golden hour light. It set the perfect backdrop for a few romantic images and of course a few fun ones. She had a photo from their original wedding that she just loved and asked if I could recreated it, of course I did. Their boys even joined in to help me capture a few beautiful dress tosses so it would catch the light just right!! And lets not forget about her bouquet, She had a great local florist recrate her original bouquet and knocked it out of the park!

We wrapped up the evening by visiting their campsite. Zack had created a few lawn games that their guests would enjoy over the weekend. I might have totally laid on the grass in front of them and have them toss them right at me. Anything for an awesome photo am I right. I was such a special evening and I am overjoyed to not only have captured this memory for them but take part in there renewal.
